I find the quest of getting to know Jesus better and following him more fully to be both challenging and exhilarating. In this series I specifically seek to help us all discover and rediscover vintage Jesus.
According to Merriam Webster dictionary definitions, “vintage” refers to a “superior wine, all… of which comes from a single… period of origin.” The vintage Jesus – indeed, the real and true Jesus – is the original Jesus.
In a profound sense, Jesus is the most well-known figure in all of history, still today. In other ways, Jesus is the most misunderstood.
Here I explore further the adventure of getting to know the original Jesus, again, more deeply, or for the first time – in what he himself originally did and said. I believe this quest is as contemporary and revolutionary today as ever. I invite you into this fascinating adventure with me…
