| A blog for the journey of love and the healing of cultures |

“..and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the cultures.”

Welcome to my blog, Leaves of the City. You can go directly to my most recent post by clicking on the picture box at the lower left. You can go to the first post that launched this blog by clicking on the picture box at the lower right.

With this blog, I seek to encourage anyone seeking meaning and hope, by exploring matters of life, faith, and culture. I invite you to read more of this purpose on the About page.

For example, in an earlier post, “The Question,” I explore the invitation to discover or
rediscover the vintage Jesus, more fully or for the first time. Indeed, I continue to find the quest of getting to know better the real, true, original Jesus and following him more fully to be both challenging and exhilarating.

In another previous post, “Restless Gospel,” we face some honest struggles in this world.
In doing so, I hope we can consider together how wrestling with such matters is not a bad thing – but actually paves the road of hope.

I also encourage you to explore other sites of this blog.
I offer an introductory tour on the Highlights page.
A running list of all posts, beginning with the most recent, appears on the Archives page.
The Series page offers invitations to join my explorations of on-going topical strings.
