God is love!
God loves the world so infinitely
that God gave us his very own Son…
The Son came and lived among us,
full of grace upon grace:
so the Son who is in God’s heart
shows us God’s love for us.
– 1 John 4; John 1, 3 (the New Testament scriptures – my paraphrase; also see NRSV, NIV, The Message)

Thank you, God, that you are love.
Thank you that your presence is love.
Thank you that you surround us with your love.
Thank you that your love is the air we breathe.
Thank you that you love all people,
and came to live among us, to be with us by your love.
Thank you that you love me, my family, my friends, my neighbors…
Thank you that your love is as close within us as our own heart.
Thank you that you fill us with your love by your Spirit.
Please enable me, enable us, to know your love, to experience your love,
to live in your love, to trust your love, to hope in your love, to serve in your love.
And so, dear God of love, enable us to love all those around us in this world.
In the name of Jesus the Messiah, Amen.

God so loved the world… God is love!
Then I saw a new heaven and new earth…
and the tree of life…
at the middle of the great street of the city…
and the leaves of the tree
are for the healing of the cultures.John 3; 1 John 4; Revelation 21, 22
